  Network problems in Dallas
  We are currently experiencing problems with the network going into the Dallas data center that is causing high latency and packet loss to all servers.
  
  This should be cleared up soon, as network engineers are working on it.

  Router upgrade planned for 16th Sep 2008
  Tomorrow (Tuesday 16th Sep 2008) the data centre will be installing an all new Dual Redundant Router System. The change over is planned for 1-2pm but if all goes well you should only be off line for 1-2 mins.

  Servers at our Chicago location are currently unavailable.
  The Chicago data center is having network issues. They are currently being worked on by network engineers, and should be resolved shortly.

  B3 Bot 1.1.3 now available.
  To update your installation of B3 perform the following steps:
  
  1) Stop b3.
  
  2) Rename the b3bot directory on the server to b3bot.old (to save configs and customizations).
  
  3) Refresh the control panel - a link will appear in the left column to install b3. Click it.
  
  4) Copy back your configs and plugins from the b3bot.old to the new b3 install.
  
  5) If you are running a cod4 server, edit b3.xml and change the parser from cod2 to cod4.

  Increased power.
  I've upgraded the cpu's in the server gs1-dallas from dual xeon woodcrest (dual core 2.33 ghz) to dual xeon harpertown (quad core 2.66 ghz) chips.

  Ventrilo 3.0 to be released on Weds. Nov. 14.
  Version 3.0 of the Ventrilo client will be available for download from http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php on Wednesday, Nov. 14, but we will not be upgrading the servers until Thursday, Nov. 15, so please do not install the new version until then. This will give everyone enough time to inform all of your users of the new version and get it downloaded.
  
  Please note that the different versions are not compatible, and if you upgrade your client prior to the server being upgraded you will not be able to connect, and if you do not upgrade the client after the server has been upgraded, you will not be able to connect to it then either.

  We will be migrating to a new web server on Saturday, June 30th.
  On Saturday June 30th at approximately 8 am EST we will be switching over to a new web server.
  
  We will be using new IP addresses, but your website should not be affected.
  
  
  
  FAQ's:
  
  1) Q: Do I need to do anything?
  A: Most people will not need to do anything at all. Our DNS servers will update your domain with the new IP.
  
  2) Q: Why the move?
  A: Upgrading to better servers and a better data center/network. We will also be updating our server operating system to a current release.
  
  3) Q: Will there be any downtime for the move?
  A: No. Since we are also upgrading to new hardware it's already in place. They will be ready to go when it's time to cut over.



• NY Teamspeak and Ventrilo Server Moves Posted: 2007-06-15 22:14:00

  On Thursday, June 28th at approximately 8 am EST we will be switching over to new servers. This is for New York only.
  Unfortunately the IP's will be changing since we are moving to a new datacenter. But your server port and all information such as users, channels and bans will remain the same.

  We are migrating our current gameservers in NY to new hardware in a new data center over the next two weeks.
  Each game server will be migrated individually, and new IP addresses will be assigned to each.
  
  A support ticket will be started when your server is moved and it will contain the new IP and login information for the new server. If you have any issues please update the ticket in our client center.
  
  FAQ's:
  
  1) Q: Why the move?
  A: Upgrading to better servers and a better data center/network.
  
  2) Q: Will there be any downtime for the move?
  A: No. Since we are also upgrading to new hardware it's already in place. This will give you time to inform your users of the new server IP.

• Scheduled Network Maintenance Posted: 2007-04-05 22:46:00

  Please be advised that the data center will be performing scheduled network maintenance this upcoming Tuesday, April 10th 2007 between 00:01 ET and 01:00 ET.
  This maintenance is necessary to expand the router capacity for the data center, and hopefully resolve the latency issues that many users have been seeing recently.
  
  You may see brief periods of latency and packet loss as traffic is re-routed around the affected router. The duration of the maintenance window will be 1 hour and we anticipate that the actual maintenance will be completed within 20 minutes.

  Dedicated Gaming Servers now available.
  We've now got dedicated gaming servers available for rent. These boxes are available with our Game Server Control Panel to simplify your game server administration.
  
  They are completely managed, which means you don't get root access, just access to the Game Server Control Panel - but that gives you the ability to create/delete and run any game server that we support that you choose without the worry of maintaining a dedicated server.

  We now support B3 Bot.
  The Big Brother Bot (b3 - http://www.bigbrotherbot.com) is now available for CoD 2 on our NY, Atlanta, Dallas and London servers. Chicago will be available soon, once we get more hardware in place at that location.
  
  There will be an additional charge of $15.00 per month for this service and a $10 setup fee.
